The name ‘Court Jester Clayworks’ was picked by me after some time I spent brainstorming. I have been doing pottery since late 2015 and by the spring of 2023, I wanted to take my journey in clay to the next level by picking an official name and banner. I originally thought of ‘The Muddy Artisan’, and while this identified me as a potter, it did not resonate with who I also am as a person outside of clay. Always the jokester and lover of history, I finally came around to the name my burgeoning pottery operation bears today!.
